BOARD OF SELECTMEN

OCTOBER 25, 2004

REGULAR SESSION MINUTES

The meeting began at 6:00 P.M.

 

Present:  George F. Dillon, Jr., Chair; Peter S. Cunningham, Vice Chair; John L. Saball, Clerk; Virginia C. Wood, Member; Robert W. Nordblom, Member and Administrative Officer Jean E. Kitchen.

 

Finance Committee RE: STM Warrant Articles

Ms. Wood moved to support Article 11 (funding the Conservation Fund) in the amount of $75,000.  Seconded by Mr. Nordblom.  Unanimous vote.

 

Ms. Kitchen informed the Board that Articles 19, 20, 21 and 22 (Sewer Extension Articles) are going to be advanced for consideration after Article 4 due to the fact that the Sewer Commissions consultant was under time constraints.

 

Sign State Election Warrant

Mr. Cunningham moved to sign the State Election Warrant for Tuesday, November 2, 2004.  Seconded by Mr. Saball.  Unanimous vote.

 

Review/Approve Work Session Minutes of August 30, 2004

Ms. Wood questioned her attendance at that meeting and approved pending verification.  Mr. Cunningham moved to approve the Work Session Minutes of August 30, 2004.  Seconded by Mr. Nordblom.  Unanimous vote.

 

The Board recessed at 6:45 P.M. for the Special Town Meeting.

 

The Board adjourned the meeting at 10:50 p.m.
