WORK SESSION MINUTES

 “UN-APPROVED”

 

Present:  Thomas D. Hartnett, Chair; George F. Dillon, Jr., Vice Chair; John L. Saball, Clerk; Peter S. Cunningham, Member; Virginia C. Wood, Member (arrived at 8:35 a.m.); Administrative Officer Jean E. Kitchen and Kathleen Newell, Office Assistant.

 

The meeting was called to order at 8:10 a.m.

 

Work Session with Recreation Department

Ms. Liza Judge, Recreation Director, Recreation Commissioners Ms. Kerri Strauss and Ms. Roberta Fusari, and Mr. Neil Cotoni (new proposed member) met with the Board of Selectmen to discuss the current financial situation.

 

 

The Board and Commissioners discussed the Kids Kick Soccer Program, which is one of the most successful and profitable recreation programs and is scheduled to begin soon.  There have been 100 applications accepted for the program.  Mr. Hartnett stated the first 100 checks should be put into a separate account,  and new accounting should be applied to all future activities

 

 

 

The session was adjourned at 8:40 a.m.
