RSS Feeds
The Town of Groton web site provides RSS feeds. Visitors can
subscribe to the following RSS feeds using software that "browses"
RSS feeds - similar to the way you use a web browser to view web
sites.
What is RSS and how can I use it?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a technology that allows content
to be easily syndicated and aggregated.
What does that mean? Well, you probably have a certain set of web
sites that you visit frequently to see what is new. What is really
cool about RSS is that you can see the headlines for all of those
sites in one list without having to visit each individual web site.
All you have to do is subscribe once to the RSS feeds for those
web sites (if available) and the RSS reader will thereafter collect
all of the headlines automatically. All of the information is
presented to you in one place!
Where can I get an RSS news reader?

How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?
When you visit web sites, look for the orange feed logo or a link to
the RSS feeds for that site. By clicking the right-most button on
your mouse (Windows) or clicking with the Ctrl button pressed (Mac),
a menu will pop-up. Select the "copy link to..." menu item. Then
start up your news reader, select Subscribe, and paste the link
into the URL text box. That's it!
