State Primary Absentee Ballots Now AvailableBack Massachusetts allows voters to vote by absentee ballot if you: will be absent from your city or town on election day, and/or  have a physical disability that prevents your voting at the polling place, and/or  cannot vote at the polls due to religious beliefs  Wednesday, September 5 at Noon is the last day and hour to request an absentee ballot. Sample ballots can be viewed here: Democratic Green Rainbow Republican The voter registration deadline for the State Primary is Friday, August 17 at 8:00 PM. This applies to new voters only.
